Proposal Writer

Job Description :

• Responsible for analyzing, designing, creating and editing written proposals for the purpose of development of requests for proposals from Federal, Provincial and other entities.
• Responsible to lay-out proposals and provide visually pleasing, impactful products
• Provides direct analytical support in updating CRM with the required information related to the proposal process.
• Analyzing evaluations of technical proposals by potential clients to identify areas of improvement and incorporate this information into subsequent proposals
• Assuring that all relevant information on all proposals are collected and reviewed for accuracy and compliance with the RFP specifications and demands
• Working closely with senior level consultants while developing strong working relationships in the process
• Manage and input reports to corporate CRM regarding all activities related to staffing
• Meeting proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for candidate recruitment, information gathering, writing, review, and approval while coordinating requirements with colleagues and consultants

Requirements :

• Excellent Communication skills both written and oral;
• A team player with both self and team motivations;
• Good analytical skills;
• Proficient use of MS Office suite programs;
• 1-3 years in communications / writing or a College diploma in a related field;
• Previous experience in Proposal preparation and / or recruiting would be a benefit;
• Exposure to the Public Sector would be an asset.
