The Rose City has created a new Corporate Leadership Team position of Commissioner, Corporate Services to oversee a diverse portfolio of areas fundamental to the efficiency and effectiveness of the City and its services.
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Commissioner is a member of Windsor’s Corporate Leadership Team and provides strategic direction for all the human, financial and material resources of the Office of Commissioner of Corporate Services.
You will oversee a talented team and demonstrate creativity in leadership and direction that ensures the efficient and effective operation of a diverse array of portfolios that seek to deliver the highest possible quality of services to the residents of the City of Windsor.
As an ideal candidate, you have a university degree in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance & Economics, Law, etc.
combined with a minimum of ten (10) years of senior management experience in strategic business planning, fiscal accountability / sustainability and human resource management in the public sector.
You can leverage your diverse background and strong business planning skills to implement and manage change, achieve Windsor’s strategic objectives, improve operational effectiveness and efficiency, enhance customer service, and deliver results.
You possess highly developed analytical skills and a proven track record for long term visioning, planning, and budgeting.
