What You’ll Do
- Run day‑to‑day operations, including AR, AP, payroll, and cash management.
- Manage the financial month‑end close process and prepare related working papers.
- Manage month‑end and quarterly internal, investor, and board reporting.
- Oversee the order‑to‑cash cycle with customers.
- Prepare semi‑monthly payroll.
- Review and supervise all Accounts Payable, including procurement.
- Oversee inventory management and coordinate with third‑party logistics partners.
- Manage treasury activities such as cash management, investments, and loans.
- Establish best practices in business processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist in developing accounting and company policies.
- Co‑own the development and implementation of sustainable, repeatable financial and operational processes in anticipation of company growth.
- Continuously improve NetSuite and HubSpot implementations.
- Oversee company‑wide spend‑management platform Brex, including credit‑card and travel compliance.
- Facilitate financial reviews, tax reporting, and future audits by external CPA firms.
- File monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with various governmental agencies.
- Load detailed budget into NetSuite and prepare budget‑to‑actual analyses.
- Prepare monthly forecast vs. actual and board package.
- Assist in quarterly and annual revenue forecasting and budgeting.
- Develop real‑time dashboard reporting and effectively use BI tools and dashboards.
- Act as a business partner for Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Engineering.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience, preferably in the tech industry.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Administration, or a related field.CPA designation.Experience with NetSuite and HubSpot is an asset.Experience leading SaaS accounting and associated metrics.Proven ability to create meaningful PowerPoint presentations from financial data.Strong leadership skills and a “ownership” mindset.Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BI dashboards.Hands‑on experience building and maintaining partner relationships with stakeholders.Full‑time, in‑office work environment.Why Work at Apera?

This range is inclusive of our equity package and is based on skillset, experience, job scope, and market data.
