Sr Data Conversion Lead
On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Data Conversion Lead for a 12 month contract in Edmonton AB.
Sr Data Conversion Lead Job Details Lead data conversion stream. Prior experience with Major Transformational Projects is required, billing system replacement experience is preferred.
Sr Data Conversion Lead Responsibilities
- Provide overall strategy and planning leadership to the Data Conversion workstream and resources.
- Work collaboratively with the Data Conversion and the other M2C Program workstreams to document all workstream activities, identification of risks and mitigations as well as analysis of critical path items.
- Manage the relationship between the Tariff Billing Vendor Partner as it relates to data conversion.
- Acts as a resource during conversion and answers questions, troubleshoots problems as they occur, supports implementation of any new process or procedure.
- Support project manager in tracking of Known Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting of workstream progress against the baseline to program leadership.
- Ability to take transformed / converted data from the legacy system to the target system.
- Establish clear processes of conversion timing end-to-end during the design / development and testing phases.
- Provide overall approach / plan and direction for mock conversions.
- Work with the Tariff Billing project manager and resources to ensure all conversion related activities are on or ahead of schedule for when Tariff Billing workstream requires.
- Support all technical resources to ensure all aspects of extract, transform and loading is executed appropriately and following the process.
If the process requires to be adjusted, the lead is responsible to work with resources to ensure adjustments are implemented and communicated.
Provide overall guidance to technical resources to complete data conversion reports and ensure target and source are aligned.
This includes reconciliation activities to ensure financial and non-financial data can be reconciled.
