Altis is excited to share our recent partnership with a prestigious litigation law firm. We are actively seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who will be instrumental in steering the firm's HR initiatives towards unparalleled success.

This role is designed for a visionary HR professional eager to develop and execute strategies in talent acquisition, retention, and fostering a culture of continuous growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic HR Leadership : Craft and implement comprehensive HR strategies focusing on talent attraction, recruitment, employer branding, and employee engagement.
  • Talent Management : Employ cutting-edge approaches to attract and retain top legal talent, ensuring the firm's competitive positioning and growth trajectory.
  • Relationship Building : Establish and maintain robust relationships with legal professionals across the firm, supporting their career development and addressing their professional needs.
  • Culture and Branding : Spearhead initiatives that highlight and reinforce the firm's values and culture, enhancing its reputation in the marketplace.
  • Operational Excellence : Oversee HR operations, including headcount management, workflow optimization, and coordination of special projects.
  • Development and Coaching : Lead the charge on training, mentorship, and development programs tailored to the legal support teams.
  • Policy and Compliance : Serve as the primary HR point of contact, ensuring adherence to federal and provincial regulations and addressing complex HR matters.
  • Industry Insight : Keep a pulse on legal industry trends, HR innovations, and best practices to continuously refine HR strategies.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management; CHRP / CHRL designation highly preferred.
  • At least 3-7 years of HR management experience within a professional services setting; prior law firm involvement is a plus.
  • A solid grasp of HR methodologies with a zeal for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the legal frameworks governing HR practices.
  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of thriving in dynamic settings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at nurturing a positive and inclusive culture.
  • A collaborative team player, infused with a good sense of humor and a penchant for creative problem-solving.
