WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Assistant Zone Manager (AZM), Sales will be the Head of Sales for Hyundai Canada in the Western Region, reporting to the Zone Manager.
The AZM, Sales is responsible to manage corporate relations and KPIs for all Hyundai dealerships from British Columbia to Manitoba.
The AZM, Sales leads the sales team and provides training, mentoring, and tools to support the development of the District Sales Managers to grow the region’s new and used vehicle sales and market share, and achievement of meeting the Company’s targets.
This position is also responsible for supporting initiatives necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and optimize market representation within the region.
The AZM, Sales will also function as the lead for Dealer Development activities including, but not limited to, open point fulfillment, dealership buy / sell, and facility standard compliance.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Provide strategic business-planning support to the Company’s dealer network new and used vehicle business to deliver upon the corporate objectives.
- Coach, train and manage District Sales Manager team within the Zone.
- Administer the distribution planning, allocation and forecasting activities, to ensure retail, wholesale and market share objectives are achieved within the Zone.
- Accountable for all customer satisfaction and loyalty processes and variance monitoring and own CSI (customer satisfaction index) as it relates to the sales side of the business at the Zone.
- Monitor Dealer operations, in accordance with Dealer Agreements.
- Zone lead for Dealer Development activities including delivery of qualified candidates to close open points within the assigned Zone, assessment of Dealership buy / sells and Dealership facility standard adherence.
- Support training and certification activities within the dealership as it relates to the sales, leasing and financing of new and used vehicles.
- Coordinate corporate Marketing association activities in the region.
- Back up the Zone Manager during absences from the office.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Completion of an undergraduate degree. or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in same or similar function with automotive experience being desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong presentation skills

- Excellent project management skills
- Strong MS Office skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong business systems analysis skills
- Experience in automotive industry preferred
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver abstract

Hiring Range : $120,000 - $140,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
