As part of a larger, publicly traded entity, our client is in growth mode and looking to add to their amazing team. With a committed client base and ever-growing product lines, our client plays in a very niche and customized space that enables them to elevate their client experience and deliver an outstanding and unique product each time.

Due to recent growth and promotion, our client needs help by adding to their growing HR team.

The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in the organization’s success by providing strategic leadership and operational best practices for employees.

Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager will guide the HR team, foster collaboration between field and corporate offices, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

This role requires a dynamic individual with a keen understanding of talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Responsibilities would include :

  • Talent Acquisition & Management lead the development and execution of the strategy, focused on recruitment, retention, and employee training & development
  • Performance Management & Development coach management on performance management techniques, effective communication strategies for conflict resolution and team development, and fostering continuous feedback
  • Employee Relations create a trusted relationship throughout the organization, and act as a mediator to help resolve conflict
  • Process Improvement stay abreast of evolving strategies and HR best practices to build and maintain a highly engaged workforce
  • Team Management develop and support a team of HR professionals and provide mentorship and guidance towards their professional growth
  • Change Management act as a change agent and lead the organization through changes required to meet business objectives.
  • Legislative Compliance stay current on trends and legislative changes and the impact affecting business units or head office.

The Ideal Candidate will bring post-secondary education in human resources and a CHRP designation would be considered an asset.

You will show 5 years of progressive experience with a minimum of 5 years at a management level, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Your demonstrated success working with a multi-faceted environment, driving alignment and high-performing teams is sought after.

The HR Manager will leverage their strong communication skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, and proficiency in conflict management techniques, thereby fostering a positive work culture.

Proven success in managing and developing an HR team, with the ability to coach and mentor staff is required. We are looking for a strong leader who can inspire, influence, and motivate others.

You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and can manage multiple projects effectively. It is essential that the HR Manager is adaptable, flexible, and can thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
