Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding :
o Assist in posting job openings on relevant platforms.
o Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates.
o Prepare new hire documentation and assist in the onboarding process.
Employee Records Management :
o Maintain accurate up-to-date records.
o Assist in digitizing all records.
o Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality policies.
Employee Relations :
o Handle basic employee inquiries and escalate as needed.
o Assist in organizing employee engagement activities.
Compliance :
o Stay informed of relevant employment laws and regulations (both provincial and federal).
o Support HR in ensuring company policies and procedures are consistently applied.
Training and Development
o Assist in coordinating training programs and workshops.
o Maintaining training records and assist with employee development initiatives.
Administrative Support :
o Provide general administrative support to HR.
o Assist in scheduling meetings.
Health and Safety
o Assist in safety meetings and meeting notes.
Assist with security clearances.
o Maintain security spreadsheet and ensure all access are current and not close to expiring.
Qualifications
- University or college studies completed in human resources
- CHRP completed or in progress
- Strong attention to detail
- Bilingualism (Asset)
