Junior Draftsperson, Indsutrial Electrical Engineering

Your future role on our team

• As adrafter, you will be contributing to projects related to mining processes,mechanics, industrial piping and plant systems (water, steam, compressed air);
• You will participate in preparing various types of drawings, such as fluid; flowdiagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), fire protectiondiagrams and HVAC system diagrams.
• You will work with our engineers,technicians and designers and will be responsible for various project layouts.

• Apply BBA or client standards when drafting layouts, sketches, schematics or diagrams from detailed drawings;
• Produce preliminary plans for buildings, equipment or sites from reference drawings or catalogues;
• Participate in improving dynamic block libraries and other internal tools;

• When required, help prepare site surveys.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

• Diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in Building or Industrial Drafting or a diploma of college studies (DCS) in Mechanical, Building Mechanics or Architectural Engineering;
• Three years of relevant work experience or less;
• Proficiency with AutoCAD;
• Proficiency with MS Office;
• Good knowledge of Revit;
• Asset : knowledge of 3D software, such as SmartPlant 3D;
• Asset : bilingual (English and French).
