Must Haves :
- 8-10 years of direct IT Project Management experience with previous experience implementing complex large scale Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse initiatives in a fast paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or another relevant field. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered, required
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (the client uses Azure)
- Experience in a modern data lake / warehouse environment with knowledge of data / business vault, star schema, snowflake, and lakehouse methodologies, operating in the Azure ADLS Gen 2, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake , etc.
or similar environments, and with familiarity with SCD Types and usage is highly preferred
Nice to Haves :
- PMP Certification preferred
- Agile Project Management experience preferred
Key Responsibilities :
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope or integrate project plans, secure commitments to deliverables, and resolve issues.
- Identify, track, and manage project dependencies to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Establish project schedule, cost, and resource baseline; control changes through established project controls, monitor and track budget to plan on a monthly basis and update forecast as needed.
- Perform ongoing risk identification to proactively manage issues through the development of action plans that reduce the severity or likelihood of occurrence.
- Effectively communicate at various levels, from senior business stakeholders to subject matter experts (business and technology) in designing and developing solutions to meet business needs.
- Present project performance and status updates to key stakeholders and senior leadership to inform progress.
