Myticas Consulting's British Columbia Client is looking for a Senior Data Governance consultant for a remote contract.
Job Description :
- Develop, and implement plans that will roll out the Data Management and Governance programs within the client organization
- Coach and mentor Data Domain Owners and Stewards on Data Governance, Data Management processes (Metadata, Data Quality, Master data, etc.)
- Help set up and facilitate Data Domains Council and Data Governance Working Group meetings.
- Help implement data catalogue and data governance platform / capability.
- Worked with or have an understating of EDM Council DCAM assessment or an alternative data maturity assessment; be certified in EDM Council DCAM Assessment
- Experience with data management tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, Ataccama, etc.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, superior communication (verbal and written) with the ability to lead meetings, hold workshops with executives, communicate complex ideas effectively, advocate solutions and results to technology and business audiences
- Experience working independently, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines and delivering results by critical deadlines
- Experience with client-facing activities such as requirements gathering, facilitating meetings, presentation creation, and ability to prepare client ready deliverables
