Teladoc Health’s summer internship program allows students to gain hands-on experience by applying their academic curriculum to real-world situations.

We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and innovative people to join our 2024 EMERGE Summer Internship Program. Interns will receive valuable training and mentoring to support their professional growth, develop marketable skills, and learn about Teladoc Health’s business and the healthcare industry.

This is a paid opportunity, in which interns will be assigned projects and tasks relevant to Teladoc Health’s current business need

Summary of Position :

We are seeking an energetic, collaborative and highly motivated and bilingual Marketing Intern to join our team this summer! This internship will focus on the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at enhancing our presence in both English and French-speaking markets.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, marketing, and technology, along with a knack for design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Translate, proofread, and ensure the cultural appropriateness of marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, and promotional materials in both English and French. (50%)
  • Assist in the creation and design of compelling and informative marketing materials to promote our virtual care services. (25%)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement bilingual marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and client engagement. (10%)
  • Support the management of social media platforms and engage with our community in both languages. (5%)
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing strategies and contribute creative ideas for content and campaigns. (10%)
  • Additional tasks asked by manager (Ongoing)

The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.

Qualifications :

  • Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate / graduate program and returning to school in September 2024, preferably of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Currently residing in Canada
  • A strong interest in digital marketing, with a willingness to learn and apply new marketing techniques and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of design principles and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about healthcare and the role of technology in improving patient care.

The above qualifications, knowledge, experience, and / or background are expected but not required for this role.
