Job Title : EIC Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Design Engineer where you will provide engineering and automation solutions to our industrial clients.

Your role involves EIC system design quickly adapting and responding to ever-changing client applications and technologies.

The position offers a mix of office and field work, adhering to tight deadlines and current electrical codes, ensuring client needs and expectations are met.

As our projects are primarily in the "heavy" sector, this person will be working on major industrial projects in the mining, waste water, clean water, forestry, and renewable energy space.

With a wide variety of projects, this person will be able to get exposure, training and mentorship in all the above areas.

Hard Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• or EIT Designation
• Experience in electrical drafting and design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code
• Control panel and PLC cabinet design
• Knowledge of PLC's, VFD's, and MCC's
• Electrical design of single line diagrams, schematics, drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
• Any type of knowledge of control or instrumentation systems will be an asset.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Capability to work in both office and field settings.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Delta, British Columbia and some days remote.
