Overview
Our Fredericton location is looking for a New Grad Cyber Security Research Scientist / Engineer to support our Cyber Resiliency Branch. Qualified applicants will be contacted for pre-screening. This competition will be used to create an eligible list of qualified candidates to fill upcoming opportunities within the next twelve months following the closing date of the job ad posting. What you will be doing
What we are looking for
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics from a university of recognized standing.
Introductory knowledge and / or experience with one or more cyber security technologies (e.g., intrusion detection systems, forensic analysis tools, next generation firewalls, application control, whitelisting, AV, encryption, automated auditing, analytics).
Modern computing technologies (e.g., VMWare and Hyper-V HyperVisors, switch and firewall configurations, Web Servers).
Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and / or the United Kingdom . CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security”.

This role is based out of CNL’s Fredericton site, which will be your designated workplace. CNL may require the successful candidate to travel from time to time, as necessary.
