Tractor Trailer Driver

RegularWe have an immediate opening for a Full Time Tractor Trailer Driver position at our Miramichi Location. The successful candidate will undergo three weeks of training.

This position is covered by a collective agreement with an hourly wage of $23.95 / hour with trip pay per km.

DUTIES : Perform all duties relating to the position of Tractor Trailer Driver, including :

• Loading and unloading product.
• Deliver products to customers and depots.
• Shunt trailers to loading docks. Perform local deliveries and pick-ups.
• Perform safety checks on equipment
• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and criminal search with Class 1E license and driving for at least one and half (1 1 / 2) years.
• Must be willing to travel outside of the Miramichi area.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to work on their own with limited supervision.
• Professional and safe attitude; able to perform work to standards, and in a safe manner.
