We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to enhance the artist products team, focusing on data and infrastructure development.
This role requires a keen understanding of APIs and databases, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the suite of applications and services.
What You Will Do : - Collaborate as a vital member of the artist products team, supporting and evolving a large array of applications and services.
Develop robust solutions using a variety of technologies, including Python and Java. - Employ agile methodologies to continuously iterate and deliver on new products and initiatives.
Who You Are : - You bring at least five years of hands-on experience in software development. - You possess strong foundational knowledge of data structures, databases, and API development.
- You have a solid technical background in Python and SQL. - You prioritize clean, well-structured code and understand the balance between perfection and timely delivery.
- You are equipped with excellent collaboration skills, a strong initiative, an eagerness to learn, and the flexibility to adapt.
- You are bilingual, capable of clearly and accurately communicating with colleagues in Ontario. - You thrive in team environments and contribute proactively to collective goals.
A Plus if You Have : - Experience with AWS services like DynamoDb, Kinesis, SQS, and Lambda functions. - Familiarity with big data technologies such as EMR, Spark, Solr, Cassandra, Grafana, and ElasticSearch.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code with tools like Cloudformation, Terraform, and the Serverless Framework. - Practical experience with Docker.
