Production Personnel / Laborer

Location : Brampton, ON (Steeles / West dr)

Great location. Accessible by transit

Pay rate : $20.50 (Afternoon pay rate $21 and Night pay rate $21.50)

Shifts Rotation :

• Must be willing to work all shifts*
• Monday to Friday 3 shift rotation
• Days : 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, Afternoons : 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30pm, Nights : 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am

Must have at least 2 years manufacturing production experience (chemical, plastic, metal or related industry)

Please note :

It is a requirement to where a respirator when working in certain areas and N95 in other areas this would not be mandatory all the time however required when performing certain duties

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Follow a recipe to accurately load powders, resins, solvents and other materials into mixers
• Operate mixers and mills used to manufacture printing ink following detailed SOP’s
• Effective written and oral communication skills, and basic computer knowledge
• Lifting, loading and stacking of pails up to 20 kg's onto pallets
• Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
• General knowledge of WHMIS
• Adhering to all policies and procedures including ISO and GMP
• Forklift license an asset
• Other duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Must be physically fit and able to safely and repeatedly, pull and carry heavy items
• Must be able to work quickly on a consistent basis through-out the shift
• Must be energetic, self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance
• Previous manufacturing experience in a similar environment is an asset
• A high school diploma is preferred
• Candidates must have work permit, PR or citizen to be eligible
