We are seeking an experienced Roll Off DZ Driver for a wholesale distribution client located in North York who specializes in clothing and accessories.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a DZ truck to transport merchandise, equipment, and materials between our warehouse and various locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using roll-off equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks, trip sheets, and delivery receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and handling deliveries.
Requirements :
- Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of roll-off experience.
- Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work variable hours and occasional weekends as required.
Location : North York
Start Time : 6 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm (Mon-Sat)
Pay Rate : $25 / hr. to $30 / hr. (depending upon experience)
