Job Description
So, what will your new role look like?
As a Senior Accountant within Workleap's Finance team, you will be a key contributor to the company's growth by participating in multiple improvement projects related to accounting and accounts payable cycle.
You’ll be responsible to :
- Contribute to the month-end closing process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure compliance w ith Workleap accounting policies.
- Support the accounting team in day-to-day activities, AP cycle and special projects .
- Monitor business processes for improvement opportunities and develop optimized processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
- Design and implement new policies and procedures related to audit requirements and business activities.
- Ensure the efficiency of internal controls.
- Participate in the implementation of accounting-related systems (ERP and more).
- Support the external audit processes, working directly with the external auditors and internal team members.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Tax, and external service providers to ensure compliance with statutory and tax reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team and other departments to ensure accurate accruals.
- Train accountants and other staff by answering questions and reviewing their work on basic questions.
- Respond to inquiries from the CFO, Controller, and managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests .

Qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA designation;
- You have good knowledge of ASPE / IFRS;
- You have accumulated 5 years of relevant experience;
- You are motivated by process improvements;
- You are detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision effectively ;
- You are focused on solutions and quick to adapt;
- You’re proficient in using the Office suite (especially Excel);
- You’re technologically inclined.
