Accounts Payable Clerk
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Temp-to-Perm Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Calgary.
The ideal candidate will handle invoice processing and provide full-cycle AP support.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including POs, vendor communication, and payments
- Process weekly cheque runs and electronic payments.
- Ensure proper job costing and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with reconciliations and other accounting tasks as needed
- Provide support for audits and other financial inquiries.
- Communicate with accounting team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Your strengths include :
- 5+ years of experience in an AP role or a similar role.
- Post-secondary education in accounting or related experience.
- Previous experience in Oil and Gas in an asset
- Experience using OpenInvoice is an asset
- Strong understanding of full-cycle AP, including POs and payment runs
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
