Intake Data Analyst
Intake Analyst (Investigator) Apex Systems is a large staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for an Intake Analyst to place at our client, a Big Five Bank.
You will be joining the Business Banking Analytics Line of Business. Client : Big Five Bank Contract : 1 Year contract. Strong possibility of extension.
Location : 1 day out of Downtown Toronto office is recommended. Start Date : 2-3 Weeks from Offer, Interviews will take place week of June 24th Working Hours : 37.
5 hours / week, 9-5pm, every 4-5 weeks, will bill 4-5 extra hours for weekend work on Saturday or Sundays Role Mandate : Accountable to provide administrative support to the Operations and Enablement team by supporting daily intake assignments, daily intake reporting, and some basic querying using SQL.
The successful candidate will be responsible for independently reading and understanding the nature of each intake, assigning it to the correct resource, and providing a daily report on intake statistics.
The analyst will also help analyze volumes and root causes of intakes and assist in investigating issues with simple database queries.
The intakes are related to the Banks Canadian Sales Performance processes and reporting. The daily nature of this work requires a high level of punctuality and reliability, as well as a basic understanding of SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and SQL and SAS (certificates are a plus).

Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) : Assigning tickets every day Compiling and emailing daily stats related to intakes Attending weekly meetings to help address overdue intakesReceive training on base queries needed to assist intake investigationsAssisting the Senior Manager with ad-hoc requestsAnalyzing root causes of issues to assist leaders in enhancing the overall systemCompleting assigned investigations with a daily targetReviewing / analyzing data from multiple sources in order to assist with closing investigations within SLAIdentify / refer cases to the developers / team lead when require with supporting details for further reviewTeam playerUpdating our investigation guidesQA scorecards (FP, Branch, CCC, US) during the weekends (once every 4 to 5 weeks depending on how many investigators are in the rotation).
Must-Have Skills : 1-2 years of similar experience - note that this does not need to be in the banking fieldStrong MS Office skills- Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint Basic SQL and SAS knowledge - the ability to interpret and understand SQL queriesComfortable with learning new processesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenNice-to-Have Skills : Experience in sales performance reporting Administrative experienceFrench Fluency in business setting
