Senior Project Manager, Design Build

MatchBox Consulting is seeking an accomplished Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our client, a leading electrical contracting organization known for their tradition and stellar reputation.

Requirements :

• Possession of an Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree, or Electrical Technologist diploma / certificate
• Demonstrated proficiency with Electrical Project Management and Estimating, with a minimum of 7 years of experience
• Proven track record in estimating and managing large-scale Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional projects
• Advanced proficiency with estimating software, particularly Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order)
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior staff

Responsibilities :

• Identify and capitalize on potential business opportunities
• Oversee project financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints
• Lead tender submissions and estimate any project changes with precision
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with Foremen and Superintendents to review project documents, discuss labor requirements, and address project successes and challenges
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Provide hands-on management and regular site visits to ensure project progress and quality control
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly to facilitate timely payments
• Review project reports and make adjustments as needed to ensure project success
• Coordinate the completion of project manuals and as-built drawings
• Address and resolve any project deficiencies promptly and effectively
