Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Senior SharePoint Business Analyst to identify IM requirements from technical configurations, client consultations and policies to support a complex SharePoint Online and M project.

Project Description :

To support the integration, migration and upgrades of the following : M environment, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and the compliance and security centre.

Must Haves :

  • Business Analyst (10+ years)
  • Business requirements and validation for an Information Management business solutions (10+ years)
  • SharePoint or higher (5+ years)
  • IM / IT project with 15, + users (1 year)
  • Defence, Enforcement or Public Safety SharePoint projects (5+ years)

Tasks :

  • Facilitate business consultation sessions for IM and business requirements;
  • Develop IM workflows based on work process mapping
  • Consult with stakeholders (individually or by means of facilitating group sessions) to produce comprehensive business requirements;
  • Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows;
  • Convert business requirements into functional specifications;
  • Evaluate existing procedures and methods, and identify and document items such as information and data content, metadata, and applications subsystems;
  • Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within applications subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems;
  • Advise senior management and provide recommendations on a range of issues affecting the organization's ability to achieve the project's business objectives;
  • Perform research and information gathering in conjunction with the Technical Authority to prepare for development of short term, medium term, and long term RDM / Collaboration implementation plans;
  • Provide written advice and documentation for delivery of an IM governance model and governance programs;
  • Make recommendations on viable IM solutions, develop system level requirements, and develop business scenarios to document system functionality;
  • Communicate with deployment team leaders through meetings and status reports on progress of assigned work activities as well as report potential issues or risks;
  • Develop business process renewal and migration Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to aid in the smooth transition from a manual system to an automated system; and
