Development Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a high-achieving, organized and results-driven individual to join our real estate development team in an entry-level role supporting the Vice President, Development. This position offers strong exposure to all facets of the real estate development lifecycle — from feasibility and acquisition through design, entitlement, construction, lease‑up, and asset management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project coordination, documentation, and communication across multiple development and corporate functions, contributing to the growth and operational excellence of our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

Development Management Support

• Support the VP, Development in reviewing potential development opportunities by assisting with pro forma modeling, cash flow analysis, and due diligence coordination.
• Track and maintain key development documentation for both prospective and active projects.
• Assist in the oversight of the external consultant team by tracking and monitoring consultant deliverables. Ensure the consultant log‑book is kept up to date and accurate.
• Assist in the review of project drawings, designs and technical documentation, and coordinate review of the same with internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation and management of zoning, development, building permit and entitlement submissions, including preparing cost and fee estimates and tracking submissions through the approval process.
• Prepare applications and submission packages project insurance policies, and assist with general administration.
• Manage drawing logs, transmittals, and change order tracking.
