Job Description
The accepted candidate will work inside a heated manufacturing facility making Cattle Handling and Rodeo equipment; you will be a production welder working on various products and run sizes.
As requested, you must be a ticketed journeyperson willing to train new welders to understand welding principles and aid in their apprenticeship.
You will be required to
- Assemble, install, and repair equipment such as Panels, Gates, Squeezes, and Rodeo Equipment.
- Read and interpret layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings.
- Support company safety and continuous improvement programs
- Utilize MIG to perform welding functions safely.
- Positions and secures workpieces using a hoist, crane, wire and banding machine, or hand tools.
- Apprentice and mentor new welders as required.
Requirements
- Journeyperson welder
- Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check.
- Reliable work history with good references is required.
- Read and understand Blueprints.
- Team player
- Welding : 3 years (required)
- Journeyman (required)
