Procurement Assistant (Oracle procurement system)
One of our major Printing and consulting clients is looking for a Procurement Assistant (Oracle procurement system) Length : 12-month contract with the potential for extension and permanent placement dependent on performance Hours : Monday -Friday 8.
30am- 5 : 00 pm Location : Toronto, ON (Onsite) ESSENTIAL DUTIES : -Place orders via an Oracle procurement system -Provide customers with quotes from approved vendors -Quality check incoming orders -Complete end to end buying process - monitor orders placed, follow up on approval process and complete receipting -Respond to vendors inquiries -Work with Procurement team on any supplier issues -Provides support to all Client Associate positions to facilitate client deliverables -Provides backup and peak workload support -Establishes support coverage schedules with Operations Managers and Site Leads -Supports training of new employees, as required -Supports administrative tasks, as required -Communicates to Site Lead and Manager all process opportunities identified during support period -Provides outstanding customer communications and client service -Ability and willingness to learn and develop -Flexibility to adapt to various client environments in an organized and professional manner -Ability to work in a team environment or single person environment with minimal supervision -Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds SKILLS : -Strong computer skills -Willingness to learn and be part of a team -Ability to adapt and learn new procedures -Communication - written & oral.
High volume of customer & supplier email communication -Customer service -Organization and attention to detail -Strong finance and math ability -Ability to resolve and escalate issues -Excellent verbal and written communications -Excellent organizational and time management skills -Ability to manage multiple tasks -Computer skills -Basic knowledge of file conversion or graphic arts applications such as Adobe Acrobat EXPERIENCE : LEVEL 3 : -6 months to 1 year experience delivering customer service -3+ years of experience in a Service Delivery environment -Specific account training and knowledge or similar print service support experience in the same region or for a similar client -Proven ability to work effectively in a range of client environments EDUCATION : -Minimum High School diploma or equivalent EDUCATION VERIFICATION REQUIRED : -Yes URGENT : Please read the job description above.
