Parsons is now hiring a Municipal Project Engineer to support our municipal clients. We have been improving infrastructure in Canada since 1964. In this position you will perform various engineering and design assignments in projects related to municipal roads, drainage and utilities, and both design and construction supervision requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a Bachelor Degree university engineering program and available data in the engineering field. In addition, you may assist in field inspections and the preparation of inspection reports.

This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

• Independently develops engineering designs for roads, drainage and hydrology, utilities, and related municipal projects.
• Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, procurement documents, design and installation packages, construction plans and documents, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
• Prepare permit documents, quantity calculations, estimates and produce / check engineering analytical data and related information to ensure the design / technical reports are accurate.
• Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Salary Range

$70,900 - $131,800
