Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media and Showroom Experience Coordinator at WallyWool located in Richmond, BC.
You will be responsible for creating and managing social media content, developing digital marketing strategies, and engaging with the online community.
Additionally, you will be responsible for daily administrative duties, such as taking payments, handling calls on the phone, and curating a showroom experience for the customers.
Hours & Location
- On-site at our newly renovated showroom in Richmond, BC
- Monday to Friday
- 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
- You’ll be stationed at a custom front desk with green tentacles (see @wallywoolbc)
Responsibilities
Social Media Marketing :
- Create and manage social media content across various platforms
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness
- Engage with the online community to drive engagement and growth
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and strategies
- Utilize design software to produce high-quality visuals in line with the brand aesthetic
Reception and Administrative Duties :
- Handle reception / front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering inquiries
- Take payments over the phone and process transactions accurately
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls, directing them to the appropriate departments
- Respond to emails and manage the showroom's general inbox
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining the showroom calendar
- Curate and conduct a brand-aware showroom experience

- Social Media Marketing and Content Creation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in Digital Marketing and Marketing
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Desire for continuous learning
- Knowledge of interior design or architectural industry is a plus
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
