Due to continued growth and progression planning, the business is hiring an experienced Human Resources Associate, to be based in thepany’s corporate head office in downtown Toronto.
- Your new roleAs the Human Resources Associate, reporting to the VP HR, your day to day will consist of the following : to input payroll transaction entries into Workday, facilitating new hire orientation, including on-boarding and inputting employee information;
- administering changes to employee records; producing reports pensation, exit interviews, employee information) and presenting findings to Management;
- providing guidance and support to staff and leaders on HR administrative queries, including policies and procedures; functioning as a liaison between Benefits / Payroll / and IT;
- facilitating staff changes (hires, terminations, resignations, contractors); gathering information from Leaders to set up Contingent Worker / Third Party Vendors;
- letters for contract extensions; coordinating maternity leave benefits, explaining benefits and process to employees and Leaders;
- short term and long term disability process initiating claims, coordinate aspects of interns program including rehires, orientation, manager queries, intern questions, end dates and feedback on performance;
- processing all invoices for the HR team and following up on discrepancies, and other projects as required and assigned. This position is for someone who is highly technical (MS Excel, VLook Ups / Pivot Tables);
with a fantastic attention to detail, and excellent presentation andmunication skills. In this role you will be a true partner to the business, and manage a very high-volume and fast-paced work load.
What you’ll need to SucceedTo succeed as the Human Resources Associate, you will bring 5 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, in a Senior Generalist and / or BP capacity, and will be data driven.
You will have advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite with an emphasis on MS Excel. You will havepleted post-secondary education relating to HR, including a CHRP.
You will have strong analytical skills and will bring experience with Workday or similar. You will ideally bring experience from a Professional Services environment, and will have experience supporting a heavily matrixed and high-volume work load.
You will be client-service orientated and befortable supporting all levels of employees and executive management. You will have a demonstrated ability to develop and strengthen relationships and will be a fantasticmunicator orally and written.
You will have a strong executive presence and be polished in your presentation. You will be someone who can operate independently, a self-starter who can work with autonomy, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced,plex corporate environment.
Finally, and importantly, you will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work at a fast pace with conflicting deadlines and changing priorities.
