Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Generate various financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting :

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for discrepancies.

Tax Compliance :

• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.

Audit Support :

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis.

Consultants Management :

Ensure timely and accurate processing of consutants payments.

Month-End and Year-End Closing :

• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial data integrity.

Compliance :

• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certifications like ICAN, ACA is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
