Senior DevOps Engineer Ref : JOB2246
Our Client is a Canadian leader in providing decentralized architecture solutions that leverage a combination of verifiable credentials.
The last several years have seen tremendous growth, and they are still expanding; now seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer , you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge Blockchain technologies, with a focus on Hyperledger Indy.
This role requires a proactive individual to evaluate and implement new tools and technologies as they evolve, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
You will be documenting new solutions while maintaining existing ones, and actively participating in global open-source Blockchain communities to implement and integrate the latest improvement proposal.
The Ideal Candidate will have 5+ years working as a DevOps Engineer performing product development as well as overseeing the code releases, deployment and operations processes, and creating build pipelines.
Key deliverables for this position include the creation of comprehensive test documents and well-commented code. You will be expected to generate and manage GitHub Issues for proposed changes, and ensure your design changes are accepted by the community through Pull Requests (PRs) that get merged.
Additionally, you will be responsible for updating CI / CD pipelines as necessary, including the potential updating and addition of integration tests.
The candidate will ideally have the following experience :
- A Post-Graduate degree related to information technology, computer science, engineering, applied math, or science and engineering
- Experience creating builds for Web and Cloud-based Applications
- Experience in provisioning, operating, and managing environments with an infrastructure as code (IaC) approach using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience working on an open-source projects
- Experience implementing Hyperledger-type blockchains (highly desirable)
- Language : Ability to converse in French (Mandatory Requirement)
