Summary
In this position the candidate is responsiblefor the safety of himself and fellow employees. Must be experiencedin proper mold installation procedures have a working knowledge andunderstanding of the five key processing parameters and to be ableto utilize this knowledge to produce a quality product.
Day to day responsibilitiesinclude :
- Focus onworking safely and supplying processes and data to support aninjuryfree environment
- Follow Division safetyrules and demonstrate leadership in establishing and following SafeWork Procedures
- Participate in safety auditsof new and existing secondary equipment.
- Participate in new mold inspection installation andsetup
- Possess sound troubleshooting skills andtechnical aptitude in order to conduct systematic analysis oftooling processes and machines to solve existing problems orimplement a new process
- Work with Engineeringto assist in new process development and Plant Productivityinitiatives
- Work with Shift ProcessTechnicians to improve efficiencies of existingprocesses
- Understand Quality system and beable to interpret data as it relates to molding process
- Be responsible for accurate and thorough documentationand data communication
Requirements / Experience :
- Five years of handson practical experiencepreferred
- Minimum two year technical degreepreferred
- Must pass Work Keys Mathematics andTechnical aptitude testing to be considered
- Working knowledge of IQMS system and basic PC literacy isrequired
