Your future role
As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be part of a team who manages the activities related to the shipping of our merchandise in Canada, in the United States and in Asia.
- Organize the transportation of goods and prepare related documents, at a regional, national and international level;
- Coordinate and track shipments;
- Select carriers, negotiate prices, book and track transportations;
- Participate in other activities related to operations (inventories, yard management, etc.).
Required skills
- College degree in transportation logistics or equivalent training or relevant experience;
- Ability to negotiate with professional skills and expertise;
- Good knowledge of Excel;
- Experience with an integrated management system (ERP), an asset.
