Our client is an established M&E Consultancy who also Design and Build throughout Canada, they are currently looking for a technically astute BIM Technician to prepare design, building materials and assemblies.
The Role :
- Conduct surveys to gather data needed in design preparation
- Prepare final designs, including required draftings and specifications
- Analyze architectural plans and drawings highlighting risks (if any)
- Surveying sights and identifying environmental impacts and location benefits
- Preparing and producing high quality drawings, models and renderings
- Presenting designs to clients
- Assign work to team members
- Liaise effectively with stakeholders of all levels
Required knowledge and experience :
- Degree in Architecture or Member of OAA
- years experience in Revit and / or Navis Works
- Previous experience in the position of BIM Manager or years of experience in a management position
- Strong knowledge of modern building construction methods and materials
- Proficiency in AutoCad, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp
- Excellent presentation and graphic skills
- Proven ability to prepare complex schematic drawings from oral instructions and rough sketches
- Knowledge of the techniques, terminology and methods of architectural drawings
