Receptionist
Salary : $40,000 / year - $50,000 / year

Summary :
Our Receptionist is a part of the Finance Department Team, who's duties primarily focus around answering phones, being the first point of contact for visitors, staff, couriers, customers etc.
Responsible for always presenting a professional and helpful impression.
Specific Duties :
- Greeting everyone as they come in, sign people in and out, providing coffee for visitors.
- Answering incoming calls & redirecting phone traffic
- Taking incoming mail : opening, date stamping, and distributing / processing cheques.
- Managing outgoing mail : preparing envelopes and applying postage as required to mail pickup in the morning. This includes arranging couriers.
- Managing company emails, redirecting emails received to the correct departments
- Downloading, filing, and matching Accounts Payable documentation.
- Cross training to provide vacation coverage for other people in our finance department.
- Providing administrative support to our financial department.
Requirements :
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook
- Customer service skills
- Organizational & time management skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic accounting knowledge an asset but not required
