Marketing Designer

Our client, a rapidly expanding retail and franchise organization with over 400 locations in 10 provinces and all 3 territories, is seeking a Marketing Designer / Graphic Designer who will represent their company as a positive ambassador of health, wellness, and brand excellence.

This position is based in vibrant Edmonton, Alberta.

Role Overview :

Join a creative and dynamic marketing team, consisting of graphic designers, marketing coordinators, and managers spread across Edmonton and Toronto.

As part of this team, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating all creative aspects of the company's brand across Canada.

From print and digital advertising to social media content, signage, product features, and more, you'll be at the forefront of promoting health and wellness in a visually compelling way.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with management and team members to create and refine designs for national and regional initiatives.
• Work closely with internal departments and franchise partners to understand needs and develop creative solutions.
• Create engaging assets for digital advertising, social media, print media, and video projects.
• Maintain quality and consistency while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
• Bring fresh and colorful design ideas to the table.

Qualifications :

• Degree, Diploma, and / or Certificate in Graphic Design.
• 3-5 years of collective experience in graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to export and prepare files for web, with knowledge of web design fundamentals.
• Positive attitude with strong collaboration skills.
• Experience working in-house or in an agency.
• Knowledge of print production and prepress skills preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Photography knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding retail design best practices is beneficial.
