League Projects Ltd. League Projects is a leading oilfield construction company that provides quality Pipeline Construction, Pipeline Integrity, Facility Construction, and Module Construction to western Canada’s energy sector.

Position Title : Quality Control Inspector *Must be able to work ASAP* Location : Various Project Locations throughout Alberta and Western Canada.

Position Summary : The Quality Control Inspector is required to carry out visual and physical inspection checks on production and final assemblies, welds, materials, and hydrostatic testing to ensure work conforms to specifications, relevant codes, regulatory and client requirements.

Reports directly to the Quality Control Manager. Duties and Responsibilities : · Perform visual inspections throughout all stages of construction.

Monitor welding conditions, consumable control, and post-weld heat treatment · Parameter Monitoring · Work with production and NDE Coordination · Ensure work is performed to meet established technical documentation for the project, including drawings, specifications, welding procedures, inspection plan, and instructions · Complete inspection reports · Verifying all NDT completion releasing the piping for hydro test · Generate ITPs in relation to Scopes of Work and sign off progressively, including equipment repairs · Generate piping data reports AB-83, TSASK 1001 / 2, able to fill out and complete for client sign off · Review NDE reports for compliance with client specifications and mandatory requirements for the Code of Construction.

ASME Sec. II, V, XIII & IX, CSA W59, CSA Z662, B31.3, B 31.1) · Completing AS Built drawings · Generate NCRs when required and identify corrective actions for continuous improvement · Verifying heat numbers, grades and sizes, specifications and familiar with MTR’s.

Verification of CE (Carbon Equivalency values) · Monitor welder qualification · Able to conduct welder job testing · Keep welder, NDE, and NCR logs up to date · Building hydro-test packages and witnessing hydrostatic tests · Completion of final turnover documents and books to turnover to clients · Complete other duties assigned by the quality control manager Skills and Knowledge : · CWB Level II required · Must be able to adapt to a high pace environment · Must be proficient with MS Office, especially MS Word and Excel · Must be proficient with Bluebeam · Ability to operate ACORN pipe is a bonus · Welding Trade Certification would be an asset · Knowledgeable of the various code of construction, provincial acts, and regulations Experience Required : · Minimum 3 years experience required · Preference will be given to those with CWB Level 2 and API 116 At League Projects, we offer a comfortable and diverse work environment where hard work and a positive attitude are rewarded.
