About this Opportunity :
The purpose of this position is to deliver Personal Lines growth through new sales objectives as outlined annually. The intent of this role is to respond, and action all leads generated through the Prospector, online requests and from our Branch network, in a timely and professional manner as well as to bind coverage on the new business leads.
This position comes with a base salary plus new business commission opportunity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve the established individual growth and sales objectives as outlined annually.
- Actioning on all new prospects and opportunities, creating leads for all parts of the business ensuring optimization of every cross-sell opportunity.
- Ensure the retention and servicing of new business written throughout the year until transferred to a branch at renewal.
- Professionally, courteously and efficiently service the Personal Lines insurance needs of new clients. This includes placing coverages with insurance markets while handling the required day to day work and paper flow, coverage reviews including outlining additional coverage’s available, maintaining Accounts Receivable at 30 days and providing claims assistance, involving the Claims Coordinator, as required.
- Demonstrate a willingness and aptitude to complete all industry courses as directed.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Ideal Skills & Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry with focus on personal lines.
- Experience using Epic, or other insurance software and various insurance portals is a must.
- Strong demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Ex : Word, Excel, Outlook) and a general proficiency with computers.
- Must have a Manitoba Driver’s License and ability to travel to all ONE Insurance locations when required.
- Organized and efficient with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Flexibility and a positive team player approach with effective communication skills.
- Level 2 insurance license.
