Summary

The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that product is merchandised on the shelve in a timely manner, setting up and tearing down displays and clearing any unwanted products from the shelves.

The Merchandiser is required to visit different big box retail stores weekly.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure merchandise is displayed appropriately and strategically with proper signage and shelf placement.
• Build and maintain product displays.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Bring issues and discrepancies to the attention of the Detailer or Detailer Supervisor.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Follow store safety rules and work in a safe and healthy manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 years in a retail vendor of big box environment or related experience.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office), specifically, MS Excel and Outlook.
• Strategic thinker, good communicator, and exceptional problem solver.
• Performs function with a sense of purpose and a degree of urgency.
• Creates a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional / technical

knowledge.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral & written).
• Should be comfortable using ladders up to 6ft.
• Be able to lift up to 30lbs.
