Case Aide
Position Description / Summary :
The Case Aide will provide support to Child Protection and Family Services.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for transporting children in care to and from home visits.
- Attend calls with Child Protection and Family Services as needed.
- Actively participate in Child Protection and Family Services networking and brainstorming.
- Contact Collateral Services to verify attendance / progress in fulfilling client conditions.
- Perform courtesy follow up on existing files.
- Monitor family visits as required.
- Responsible for document / file management, which includes scanning, shredding, and file maintenance.
- Support caseworkers to ensure that files and documentation are up-to-date and accurate.
- Complete Purchase Order documentation.
- Cover off Intake Screener as necessary.
- Have excellent computer skills with the ability to navigate Agency databases and computer systems
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and assess risks.
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements :

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Must be able to provide a recent and satisfactory Criminal Record check, Driver’s Abstract and Child Abuse Record check
