MS Dynamics F&O Report Developer
Job Description
Our leading legal client is looking for 2 MS Dynamics F&O Report Developers to join their team on a 6 month term. The contract will be fully remote.
Our client is scheduled to go live with F&O on July 22, 2024, utilizing standard reports where applicable but requiring custom reports when necessary.
Currently, there are 32 reports slated for development, with additional reports possibly identified during user acceptance testing. Objectives :
- Develop custom reports in Management Reporter, SSRS, and / or PowerBI based on a prioritized list provided by our client, accompanied by sample reports and mapping requirements.
- Provide documentation on Dynamics F&O table structures, including entity relationship diagrams for built reports, alongside report specifications, data sources, and usage guidelines.
- Offer training to our client's report developers on F&O reporting tools.
- Provide support and training to end-users for effective report utilization.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Design and develop custom reports in Management Reporter and PowerBI based on gathered requirements, in consultation with the developer and our client's team.
- Create data models and establish connections to MS Dynamics databases for report generation.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and report layout to enhance usability.
- Conduct testing of developed reports alongside our client to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Address any identified issues or discrepancies during testing phases.
- Provide documentation and training materials for end-users.
Skills and Experience :
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics F&O and its reporting tools, particularly Management Reporter and SSRS.
- Experience using Power BI
- Strong understanding of relational databases, especially the data model behind MS Dynamics F&O, with adept technical documentation skills (e.
g., entity relationship diagrams).
- Ability to comprehend reporting requirements and assess report design appropriately for implementation.
- Familiarity with reporting in a finance environment.
- Effective troubleshooting abilities.
