We provide quality clinical, navigation and professional support in the areas of autism, behavioural, developmental, mental health, and rehabilitative services.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Manager of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for overseeing and managing HR operations within the Agency. They are responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of transactional and operational HR activities, and ensure compliance with all relevant professional standards, legislation, and legal requirements.
In collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, they contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
They are an active contributing member of the Agency’s Leadership Team (ALT) and lead in alignment with the Agency’s Mission, Vision, Values and Leadership Model.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Four year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), or other relevant degree with specialization in HR; or Bachelor’s degree with post-graduate diploma in HR
- Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation required; Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) will be considered with commitment to achieve CHRL designation
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience of increasing responsibility in the human resources field
- Management experience preferred
- Experience in both public and private sectors an asset
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices, in areas including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, total compensation, training, and development.
Knowledge of and experience in health and safety an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of established theories, principles, and practices of human resources management with demonstrated ability
