Home Centre Team Member (Temporary)
What you’ll do :
Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, the Home Centre Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand :
- Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures and participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety.
- Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our You’re at Home Here motto.
- General merchandising and delivery of product
- Accurate ordering of product
- Load / unload product
- Ensure high level of location image in line with our Brand expectations
- Other projects and assignments as required
- Position requires the use of equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and stock carts, as well as heavy lifting of product (up to 50lbs unassisted).

We are looking for a positive, approachable, and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following :
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Professional, people-first, Guest service skills
- Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork)
- Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Quality communication skills.
- Class 5 Driver License is required
- Construction / building materials knowledge is a benefit
- Ability to work independently
This is a full-time temporary position, the successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings and weekends for approximately 40 hours per week.
