Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Avocat(e) Associé(e) avec plus de 15 ans d'expérience en rédaction et négociation de contrats pour se joindre à notre client en F&A à Montréal.

L'avocat(e) embauché(e) à ce poste seront impliqués dans des transactions commerciales significatives et financements corporatifs, complexes et importants dans un large éventail d’intérêts de l’industrie.

Les candidats doivent avoir de l’expérience dans la rédaction et la négociation d’accords commerciaux et d’entreprise (nationaux et transfrontaliers), y compris des accords de licence, des accords de partenariat, des coentreprises et des conventions d’actionnaires.

L’associé(e) en F&A jouera un rôle clé dans l’orientation stratégique, le développement des relations clients et la croissance de l’entreprise.

Profil recherché :

  • Minimum 15 ans d'expérience dans un cabinet de haut calibre en F&A ou droit corporatif
  • Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais
  • Compétences en leadership : Capacité avérée à diriger, inspirer et gérer efficacement des équipes.
  • Aptitude à travailler au sein d'une équipe au rythme rapide
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément et à travailler efficacement.
  • Engagement à dépasser les attentes des clients
  • Excellente maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (en particulier Outlook, Word et Excel)
  • Membre du Barreau du Québec

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Partner

Role Overview :

We are seeking an accomplished M&A Partner with a proven track record and a minimum of fifteen years of experience in leading and executing complex mergers and acquisition transactions.

As a vital member of our client's esteemed law firm, the M&A Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Provide visionary leadership to our M&A practice group, setting strategic goals, and ensuring alignment with overall firm objectives.
  • Business Development : Spearhead business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, expanding client portfolios, and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Deal Execution : Oversee the execution of high-value M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Management : Lead and mentor a team of lawyers, associates, and support staff, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Thought Leadership : Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging market dynamics, contributing thought leadership to enhance our practice.
  • Client Advisory : Provide strategic counsel to clients, advising on legal, commercial, and risk-related matters throughout the M&A lifecycle.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate with other practice groups (such as Tax, Corporate, and Finance) to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

We are looking for a candidate with :

  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a lawyer in M&A in a high-caliber law firm practice
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • The ability to lead a fast-paced team
  • Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Membership : Must be a member of the Québec Bar.
