Salary range : $90,000-$105,000

About you

To succeed in this role, you'll need :

• 3+ years of experience as an Ontario lawyer or in-house counsel dealing in employment law.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree.
• Experience drafting employment agreements and representing plaintiffs before courts and tribunals wrongful dismissal claims, human rights proceedings, employment standards proceedings, and restrictive covenant litigation.
• Experience advising employers on workplace matters.
• Familiarity with MS Office, timekeeping applications, docketing, and billing.
• To work and reason independently on client files, with minimal guidance and full support.

About the role

If hired, you will :

• Counsel clients on workplace issues : employment standards, human rights, and safety.
• Help employers create workplace contracts and policies.
• Advise on employment agreements and termination entitlements.
• Represent clients in employment litigation across various tribunals and courts.
