Position : Catalog Content Administrator
Location : Toronto, ON Remote
Job Type : 6-month contract to start with a potential for extension
Our client, a fast-growing, top North American online retailer, is looking for bright juniors with experience in e-commerce to join their content team.
This is a work-from-home opportunity with full-time business hours from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist business clients in getting set up through the online e-commerce platform
- Classify and verify production information and directly affect the customer experience
- Troubleshoot any issues that vendors may be having with the platform and escalate accordingly
- Support with additional tasks and special projects
- Assist with launching products and services on available retail platforms
- Data labeling and data annotation projects to improve catalog quality
- Verify the quality of attributes (e.g. organic) through investigating various data points (e.g. image, external websites) to ensure we have high quality for these attributes
- Review vendor results for data quality workflows to assess vendor accuracy
- Review results for the brand workflow to standardize different variations of brands into the correct brand using internal / external research which involves reviewing if the vendor’s answers are correct and conducting external / internal research to validate the correct answer
Key Requirements :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Degree or advanced diploma in business, retail management, e-commerce or a related field
- Previous experience with SQL is a strong asset for this role
- Google Suite and MS Office experience is mandatory
- 1 to 2 years of experience supporting vendors in a similar e-commerce-based role
- Knowledgeable in data curation, data labeling, and data annotation
- Must be detail-oriented
- Experience triaging tickets JIRA, Zendesk, etc.
- Knowledge in e-commerce and online engagement is an asset
- Comfortable working with large data sets
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Excel experience and exposure to Excel commands is mandatory
- Ability to learn new internal tools / in-house systems and processes quickly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and is proactive / resourceful
- Must pass a criminal background check
