Qualifications Have a solid commitment to Christ and be passionate for His churchBuilder of solid relationships with Youth ages 13 -30Experienced working with young people, preferably in a church environmentAbility to develop and nurture Christian maturity and discipleship in YouthAbility to strategically plan and develop programs to enhance the spiritual needs of Youth, benefitting the churchTheological training or education considered an asset Job Responsibilities Design and lead a Biblical activity for all youths every Sunday after the worship servicePlan and carry out recreational activities with youth and young adultsConduct outreach activities to bring more young people to the church Develop plans for the future of the Youth Ministry and its sustainabilityWork as a team member with various church ministry teams Attend weekly meetings with church leaders to co-ordinate activities accordingly Working Details 20 hours per week, Sunday worship included, reporting to MinisterSalary $20 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus benefits (pension, group medical) Application Deadline : July 31, Submit applications to : Grace United Church is an equal opportunity employer.
