Position Summary :
The successful candidate will lead the strategic vision and tactical execution of revenue management / pricing at 407 ETR leveraging rates, discounts, promotions, pricing analytics and customer insights to optimize revenue long term.
Responsibilities will include building, leading and developing a high-performance revenue management team focused on pricing structures, promotion design and implementation, pricing analytics, reporting, forecasting, compliance and governance.
The incumbent will also be responsible for the business development of a pricing platform that is fully integrated into a new CRM platform designed to maximize pricing capabilities.
This role will also be responsible to build an operating plan and budget that aligns with the overall priorities of the company and its shareholders.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Build and deliver the revenue management / pricing strategic vision and tactical execution plan at 407 ETR with significant results.
- Build, lead and mentor a high-performance team of revenue management / pricing analysts (including constructive performance reviews and development plans).
- Work with cross functional teams in the organization (Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Operations, Finance etc.) to effectively execute revenue management strategies and pricing tactics (price structure, discounts, promotions, loyalty, etc.
as well as compile and analyze results and apply learnings to future projects.
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data related to customer price behavior.
- Manage consultants retained including contract preparation, price negotiation, scheduling, budget management, payment approvals, report evaluation and approval.
- Represent and inform the company through participation in inter-agency research initiatives.
Qualifications :
- A University bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics or similar quantitative discipline. (Masters preferred)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a revenue management / pricing leadership role specifically covering : Revenue management / pricing systems development, management and maintenanceRevenue management / pricing strategy and executionPromotion and discount executionRevenue management / pricing compliance and governanceRevenue management / pricing analytics including promotion impact and forecasting
- Strong experience and deep understanding of revenue management / pricing analytics, customer experience and pricing mechanisms
- Strong experience with tools like Tableau and SQL.
- Strong understanding of customer driven value and behaviours.
- Exceptional business / market analysis, research and problem-solving skills.
- Highly driven, entrepreneurial spirit who can set strategy and tactical execution, lead change at an organizational level, work collaboratively across departments and advocate for data driven decision making.
- Strong leader with exceptional presentation skills and past experience interacting with C-level management, stakeholders and shareholders.
- Ability to clearly and concisely articulate revenue management / pricing insights in a way that is digestible to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to understand business, shareholders and stakeholder’s issues and create valuable insight.
- Prior experience building, operating and maintaining sophisticated dynamic pricing systems including planning, developing and writing business requirements.
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Exceptionally strong understanding of end-to-end customer revenue management / pricing systems and operations
