Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned work with efficiency, safety, and accuracy, adhering to dealership, factory, and regulatory standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and conduct repairs promptly.
  • Uphold a "fix it right the first time" approach.
  • Conduct road tests to verify service quality.
  • Provide written, prioritized quotes for any additional necessary work.
  • Inform service advisors and customers about any additional maintenance required.
  • Maintain company and personal equipment and tools in good condition.
  • Stay up-to-date with the maintenance and repair procedures for all makes and models.
  • Comply with dealership health & safety programs and provincial occupational health & safety regulations.

Major Requirements and Competencies

  • Mechanical background / knowledge.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.
  • Clean Police Information Check.
  • Proof of License / Credentials.
  • Personal tools for the job.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Toyota experience and Out of Province Permit are assets.
