About The Opportunity :
The focus of these positions is to provide lifeguarding functions, instruct swimming lessons, assist in the operation of an aquatic facility and respond to a variety of customer requests and concerns.
The hours are flexible and varied involving morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
About Your Background :
You have completed Grade 10 as well as current certificates and awards as follows :
- National Lifeguard Award - Pool Option
- Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Instructor
- Standard First Aid / CPR-C / AED
The following awards will be considered an asset :
- Lifesaving Instructor Award
- Certified BCRPA Aquafit Instructor
Recruitment Timeline (Subject to change) :
Skills Testing : Thursday, May 9 (between 4 : 00pm - 8 : 30pm)
Interviews : Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 24
Orientation : Saturday, June 1
Additional orientation sessions will be added.
